Update - Atlassian has advised us that it is not possible to revert these settings to their original values. Therefore we advise all customers to check their app settings at: Settings (cog) => Marketplace apps => Risk Register => App settings.

Update - We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.

Update - We have released a fix for the bug that caused this problem. Efforts to restore the app settings to their pre-bug state are continuing; we'll keep you informed about progress on that front.

Identified - We've identified the cause of the app settings being reset to their defaults. We have asked Atlassian to assist us in restoring the settings to their earlier state and will post another update here when we know more about that option.

What we do know is this: risk assessment data are not affected, nor are risk models, project-specific settings or any other configuration data. This issue pertains only to these configuration items:
* The selection of a primary risk type
* The selection of supplementary risk types
* The selection of a treatment link type
* The selected color of empty cells
* The choice to display a risk menu item in project views or not

Customers should feel free to change the app settings manually; any changes made now will not be affected during any remediation measures that we take.

Investigating - Some customers have reported that global application settings are now blank. There are five fields potentially affected:

* Primary risk type
* Supplementary risk types
* Treatment link type
* Color of empty cells
* Menu item visibility

If the settings are missing, they can be easily restored by going to Settings => Marketplace apps => Risk Register => App settings.

We are investigating the issue.
